Donations to CASBA generally help to fund our work to promote straw building through continued support of development of the existing straw bale construction code in the International Residential Code (IRC), as well as further work towards acceptance in the International Building Code (IBC).

These funds help to defray member travel expenses to committee hearings (where straw building advocates present proposed code, or changes) and by funding related computer modeling, peer review, and straw bale wall research & testing.
